ब्रह्मणो दिवसाष्टांशेषपदमैंद्रं विनश्यति । सलोकपाल सार्कं च सचंद्रग्रहतारकम्
brahmaṇo divasāṣṭāṃśeṣapadamaiṃdraṃ vinaśyati | salokapāla sārkaṃ ca sacaṃdragrahatārakam
ব্রহ্মার দিবসের যখন মাত্র অষ্টমাংশ অবশিষ্ট থাকে, তখন ইন্দ্রের পদ বিলুপ্ত হয়—লোকপালদের সঙ্গে সূর্যও, আর চন্দ্র, গ্রহ ও নক্ষত্রসমূহও লয়প্রাপ্ত হয়।
