इति व्याकुलिते लोके सुरासुरनरोरगे । आःकिमेतदकांडेभूद्रुरुदुर्दुद्रुवुः प्रजाः
iti vyākulite loke surāsuranarorage | āḥkimetadakāṃḍebhūdrurudurdudruvuḥ prajāḥ
এভাবে দেব, অসুর, মানুষ ও নাগসহ লোক ব্যাকুল হলো। ‘হায়! হঠাৎ এ কী ঘটল?’ বলে প্রজারা কাঁদতে কাঁদতে এদিক-ওদিক ছুটতে লাগল।
