पक्वान्नगंधमाघ्राय क्षुधितः स तमन्वगात् । इदमन्नं मया ग्राह्यं शिवायोपस्कृतं निशि

pakvānnagaṃdhamāghrāya kṣudhitaḥ sa tamanvagāt | idamannaṃ mayā grāhyaṃ śivāyopaskṛtaṃ niśi

পাকা অন্নের গন্ধ শুঁকে ক্ষুধার্ত সে তার পিছু নিল এবং মনে ভাবল—“এই অন্ন আমার নেওয়া উচিত, যদিও এটি রাতে শিবের জন্য প্রস্তুত করা হয়েছে।”
