Skanda (deduced, Kāśīkhaṇḍa context)
Tirtha: Kāśī
Type: kshetra
Scene: A saffron-clad ascetic at a Kāśī lane/ghāṭ receives simple alms; his face shows either serenity (ideal) or dissatisfaction (warning), with temple spires and the Gaṅgā in the background.
True renunciation is marked by contentment; craving rare comforts contradicts the ascetic vow.
The larger context is Kāśī (Vārāṇasī) in the Kāśīkhaṇḍa, where dharma for different āśramas is taught.
A disciplinary rule for mendicancy: do not beg for special/rare items and remain satisfied with whatever food is received.
