इत्थं तयोक्तमाकर्ण्य पुरोऽगच्छद्द्विजात्मजः । विचिंत्य परिहासोक्तिं गच्छति स्म यथा पुरा
itthaṃ tayoktamākarṇya puro'gacchaddvijātmajaḥ | viciṃtya parihāsoktiṃ gacchati sma yathā purā
উভয়ের কথা শুনে ব্রাহ্মণপুত্র অগ্রে অগ্রসর হল। এটিকে কেবল পরিহাসের উক্তি ভেবে সে পূর্বের ন্যায় পথ চলতে লাগল।
