umārudrāṅgasambhūtā yena caiṣā mahānadī | lokānprāpayate svargaṃ tena puṇyatvamāgatā

উমা ও রুদ্রের দেহ থেকে এই মহানদী উৎপন্ন হয়েছে, আর সে লোকসমূহকে স্বর্গে পৌঁছে দেয়—এই কারণেই সে পরম পুণ্য ও পবিত্রতা লাভ করেছে।
