श्रीमार्कण्डेय उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महाराज पिङ्गलावर्तमुत्तमम् । सङ्गमस्य समीपस्थं रेवाया उत्तरे तटे । हव्यवाहेन राजेन्द्र स्थापितः पिङ्गलेश्वरः

শ্রী মার্কণ্ডেয় বললেন—তারপর, হে মহারাজ, সঙ্গমের নিকটে রেবার উত্তর তীরে অবস্থিত উৎকৃষ্ট পিঙ্গলাবর্তে গমন করা উচিত। হে রাজেন্দ্র, সেখানে হব্যবাহন (অগ্নি) পিঙ্গলেশ্বরকে প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছিলেন।
