श्रीमार्कण्डेय उवाच । साधु साधु महाप्राज्ञ पृष्टः प्रश्नस्त्वयानघ । कथयामि यथापूर्वं श्रुतमेतन्महेश्वरात्

শ্রী মার্কণ্ডেয় বললেন—সাধু, সাধু! হে মহাপ্রাজ্ঞ, হে অনঘ, তুমি যথার্থ প্রশ্ন করেছ। আমি মহেশ্বরের নিকট পূর্বে যেমন শুনেছিলাম, তেমনই বলছি।
