तेनोक्ताः स्वसुतां चेत्तु राजा मे दातुमिच्छति । ततोऽस्य भूयोऽपि गृहे ज्वलेऽहं नान्यथा द्विजाः
tenoktāḥ svasutāṃ cettu rājā me dātumicchati | tato'sya bhūyo'pi gṛhe jvale'haṃ nānyathā dvijāḥ
তিনি তাঁদের বললেন: 'হে ব্রাহ্মণগণ! যদি রাজা তাঁর নিজের কন্যা আমাকে দান করতে ইচ্ছুক হন, তবেই আমি তাঁর গৃহে পুনরায় প্রজ্জ্বলিত হব, অন্যথায় নয়।'
