śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | purā śapto munīndreṇa dakṣeṇa kila bhārata | asevanāddhi dārāṇāṃ kṣayarogī bhaviṣyasi

Translation

শ্রীমার্কণ্ডেয় বললেন—হে ভারত! পূর্বকালে মুনিশ্রেষ্ঠ দক্ষ তাঁকে শাপ দিয়েছিলেন—‘বৈধ পত্নীদের সঙ্গ অবহেলা করার ফলে তুমি ক্ষয়রোগে আক্রান্ত হবে।’
