मुखबाहूरुसञ्जातं चातुर्वर्ण्य सहोदितम् । कल्पनेयं कृता पूर्वैर्न घटेत विचारतः
mukhabāhūrusañjātaṃ cāturvarṇya sahoditam | kalpaneyaṃ kṛtā pūrvairna ghaṭeta vicārataḥ
‘মুখ, বাহু, ঊরু ও পদ থেকে একসঙ্গে উৎপন্ন’—এমন যে চতুর্বর্ণ্য বলা হয়, তা পূর্বজনদের কল্পনামাত্র; সূক্ষ্ম বিচারে তা সত্যরূপে স্থির থাকে না।
