Gaṇeśa’s Challenge and the Mustering of the Gaṇas
ityevaṃ bruvati brahmaṃstāvatparighamādade | sa gaṇeśo mahāvīro bālo'bālaparākramaḥ

It highlights the Shaiva theme that divine śakti operates through Saguna forms: Gaṇeśa, though appearing as a child, manifests superhuman prowess as Shiva’s appointed guardian, showing that spiritual authority comes from divine commission, not mere age or appearance.
Gaṇeśa’s immediate readiness to act reflects devotion in service (sevā) to Shiva’s will; in Linga/Saguna worship, the devotee similarly stands ready to protect dharma through discipline, purity, and unwavering bhakti centered on Shiva.
Cultivate steadfastness (dhṛti) through daily japa of the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and begin worship with Gaṇeśa-smaraṇa to remove obstacles, so one’s resolve in sādhanā becomes firm and “non-childlike” in strength.
