Brahma
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Paśupatinātha
Role: nurturing
Offering: pushpa
The verse highlights niścaya (steadfast inner resolve) arising from divine instruction, showing that firm commitment and readiness are essential steps for approaching Śiva through disciplined devotion.
By moving toward Śiva’s mandira, the narrative points to Saguna upāsanā—approaching the Lord through a sacred abode and visible form (often the Liṅga), where devotion becomes focused and embodied.
It suggests making a clear saṅkalpa (resolve) and then proceeding to temple worship—offering prayer and mental surrender; practitioners may accompany this with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) as they go.
