হে সোম, দেব-আনয়নের জন্য প্রবাহিত হও; সিন্ধু (নদী) যেমন, তেমনি তুমি প্লাবন-জলে স্ফীত হও; অংশু (সোমদণ্ড) এর পয়স্ (দুগ্ধ/রস) মিশ্রিত, মদির (উল্লাসদায়ক) ও জাগ্রত (সতর্ক) হয়ে, মধু-ঝরা কোষ (পাত্র) অভিমুখে যাও।
