Sukta 9.71
अद्रिभिः सुतः पवते गभस्त्योर्वृषायते नभसा वेपते मती । स मोदते नसते साधते गिरा नेनिक्ते अप्सु यजते परीमणि ॥
ádribhiḥ sutáḥ pavate gábhastyor vṛṣā́yate nábhasā vépate matī́ | sá modate násate sā́dhate girā́ nénikte apsú yájate parī́maṇi ||
অদ্রি (সোম-পেষণ-পাথর) দ্বারা পেষিত হয়ে তিনি (সোম) গভস্তি—ধারণকারী হাতে—পবিত্র হয়ে প্রবাহিত হন; তিনি বৃষভের ন্যায় প্রবল হন, আর नभস্ (আকাশীয় বিস্তার/মহিমা) দ্বারা মতি (চেতনা) কাঁপিয়ে জাগরণে আনেন। তিনি আনন্দিত হন, নাসত্য (অশ্বিনদ্বয়)-এর নিকটে গমন করেন এবং গিরা (প্রেরিত বাক্য) দ্বারা সিদ্ধি সাধন করেন; অপ্সু (জলে) ধৌত হয়ে, পরিমণি—পরিবেষ্টিত পূর্ণতায়—যজ্ঞরূপে উপাসনা নিবেদন করেন।
