आ मन्द्रमा वरेण्यमा विप्रमा मनीषिणम् । पान्तमा पुरुस्पृहम् ॥

ā́ mandrám ā́ váreṇyam ā́ vípram ā́ manīṣíṇam | pā́ntam ā́ puru-spṛ́ham ||

আমাদের কাছে আনো সেই আনন্দময় (মন্দ্র) ও বরণীয়কে; আমাদের কাছে আনো সেই বিপ্র—মনীষীকে (প্রেরিত ঋষি, প্রজ্ঞাবান চিন্তক)। যিনি রক্ষিত এবং বহুজন-কাঙ্ক্ষিত—তিনি আমাদের কাছে আসুন।
