परि वाजे न वाजयुमव्यो वारेषु सिञ्चत । इन्द्राय मधुमत्तमम् ॥

বাজের জন্য প্রতিযোগিতার মতো, বাজয়ু সোমকে উলের ছাঁকনি-রোমে (অব্য ওয়ারেষু) চারদিকে ঢেলে দাও—ইন্দ্রের জন্য, সর্বাধিক মধুর-রসপূর্ণ—যাতে বিজয়ী বল নিশ্চিত হয়।
