Sukta 8.46
आ नो वायो महे तने याहि मखाय पाजसे । वयं हि ते चकृमा भूरि दावने सद्यश्चिन्महि दावने ॥
ā́ no vāyo mahé tánē yā́hi makhā́ya pā́jase | vayáṃ hí te cakṛmā́ bhū́ri dā́vane sadyáś cin máhi dā́vane ||
হে বায়ু, আমাদের কাছে এসো—মহান বিস্তার (মহে তনে) লাভের জন্য; যজ্ঞের জন্য, এবং দীপ্ত পাজস্ (বল-প্রভা) জন্য এসো। কারণ তোমার দানের জন্য আমরা বহু কিছু প্রস্তুত করেছি; হ্যাঁ, এই মুহূর্তেই, তোমার দান অবতরণের জন্য আমরা এক বিশাল ক্ষেত্র নির্মাণ করেছি।
