देवानां चक्षुः सुभगा वहन्ती श्वेतं नयन्ती सुदृशीकमश्वम् । उषा अदर्शि रश्मिभिर्व्यक्ता चित्रामघा विश्वमनु प्रभूता ॥
devā́nāṃ cákṣuḥ su-bhágā váhantī śvetáṃ náyantī su-dṛ́śīkam áśvam | uṣā́ adarśi raśmíbhir vyàktā citrā́maghā víśvam ánu prábhūtā ||
দেবগণের চক্ষুরূপে, সৌভাগ্যবতী উষা শ্বেত, সুদর্শী অশ্বকে অগ্রে চালিত করেন। উষা প্রকাশিত হন—তাঁর রশ্মিসমূহ স্পষ্টভাবে বিস্তার লাভ করে; বিচিত্র দানে সমৃদ্ধা, তিনি পরবর্তী সমগ্র জগতের উপর প্রভুত্ব করেন।
