Sukta 7.46
मा नो वधी रुद्र मा परा दा मा ते भूम प्रसितौ हीळितस्य । आ नो भज बर्हिषि जीवशंसे यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
mā́ no vadhī rudra mā́ párā dā mā́ te bhūma prásitau hīḷitásya | ā́ no bhaja barhíṣi jīva-śaṃsé yūyáṃ pāta svastí-bhiḥ sádā naḥ ||
হে রুদ্র, আমাদের বধ কোরো না; আমাদের দূরে নিক্ষেপ কোরো না। তোমার ক্রোধের আঘাত-প্রসৃতিতে আমরা যেন না পড়ি। বর্হিষে—জীবশংস (জীবনের আশা) এর বর—আমাদের সঙ্গে ভাগ করো/আমাদের দাও; আর তোমরা (হে দেবশক্তিগণ), স্বস্তি দ্বারা সর্বদা আমাদের রক্ষা করো।
