Sukta 6.72
इन्द्रासोमा युवमङ्ग तरुत्रमपत्यसाचं श्रुत्यं रराथे । युवं शुष्मं नर्यं चर्षणिभ्यः सं विव्यथुः पृतनाषाहमुग्रा ॥
indrā́somā yuvám aṅgá tarútram apatya-sā́caṃ śrútyaṃ rarāthe | yuváṃ śúṣmaṃ náryaṃ carṣaṇí-bhyaḥ sáṃ vivyathuḥ pṛtanā-sā́ham ugrā́ ||
হে ইন্দ্র–সোম! তোমরা দু’জনই সত্যই উদ্ধার-শক্তি (তরুত্রম্) দান করেছ—ভবিষ্যৎ-জয়ী, শ্রবণীয় (শ্রুত্য) সহায়। তোমরা জনসমূহের জন্য পুরুষোচিত বল (নর্য শুষ্ম) এবং যুদ্ধজয়ী পরাক্রমকে একত্র করে বিস্তার করেছ—হে উগ্র, পৃতনা-জয়ী (পৃতনাষাহ)!
