आ नो महीमरमतिं सजोषा ग्नां देवीं नमसा रातहव्याम् । मधोर्मदाय बृहतीमृतज्ञामाग्ने वह पथिभिर्देवयानैः ॥

Transliteration

ā́ no mahī́m arámatim sajóṣā gnā́ṃ devī́ṃ námasā rātáhavyām | mádhormádāya bṛhatī́m ṛtajñā́m ā́gne vaha pathíbhiḥ devayā́naiḥ ||

Translation

হে অগ্নি! সজোষা (একভাব) হয়ে সেই মহান্ অরমতিকে আমাদের কাছে নিয়ে এসো— সেই দেবী, দিব্য নারীকে, নমস্কারসহ, যিনি হব্য (হবি) বহন করেন। মধুরসের আনন্দ-উন্মাদের জন্য, হে অগ্নে, দেবযান পথসমূহ দিয়ে— বিশাল, ঋতজ্ঞা (ঋতকে জানা)— তাঁকে এখানে বহন করো।
