Sukta 5.43
अध्वर्यवश्चकृवांसो मधूनि प्र वायवे भरत चारु शुक्रम् । होतेव नः प्रथमः पाह्यस्य देव मध्वो ररिमा ते मदाय ॥
ádhvaryavaś cakṛvā́ṃso mádhūni prá vāyáve bharata cā́ru śukrám | hóteva naḥ prathamáḥ pāhy asyá deva mádhvo rárimā te mádāya ||
হে অধ্বর্যুগণ! মধুময় হব্য প্রস্তুত করে বায়ু-দেবের জন্য এই মনোহর, উজ্জ্বল সোম-পান অগ্রে আনো। হে দেব! আমাদের জন্য প্রথম হোতৃর ন্যায় এর রক্ষা করো; তোমার আনন্দ (মদ) এর জন্য আমরা এই মধু নিবেদন করেছি।
