अग्ने कदा त आनुषग्भुवद्देवस्य चेतनम् । अधा हि त्वा जगृभ्रिरे मर्तासो विक्ष्वीड्यम् ॥
Transliteration
agné kadā́ ta ānuṣág bhúvad devásya cétanam | ádhā hí tvā jagṛbhriré mártāso víkṣv ī́ḍyam ||
Translation
হে অগ্নি, তোমার দেবত্বের এই অবিরত চেতনা/জাগরণ কবে হবে? কারণ তখনই নিশ্চয় মর্ত্যরা তোমাকে ধরে, আঁকড়ে রাখে—গোত্রসমূহে স্তবনীয় (বীক্ষ্বীড্যম্)।
