ऊर्ध्व ऊ षु णो अध्वरस्य होतरग्ने तिष्ठ देवताता यजीयान् । त्वं हि विश्वमभ्यसि मन्म प्र वेधसश्चित्तिरसि मनीषाम् ॥
ūrdhvó u ṣú ṇo adhvarasyá hotar agne tíṣṭha deva-tātā́ yajī́yān | tváṃ hí víśvam abhyási mánma prá védhasaś cít tirási manīṣā́m ||
আমাদের জন্য যজ্ঞের হোতৃ, উঠো; হে অগ্নি, দেবতাস্থাপক, সর্বাধিক যজ্ঞযোগ্য, স্থির হয়ে দাঁড়াও। কারণ তুমি আমাদের সমস্ত মননকে পরিব্যাপ্ত কর; হে বেধস্, তুমি ঋষিদের মনীষার বিবেকী চিত্তি—তুমিই বোধশক্তিকে অগ্রসর কর।
