इन्द्रश्च वायवेषां सोमानां पीतिमर्हथः । युवां हि यन्तीन्दवो निम्नमापो न सध्र्यक् ॥

índraś ca vāyav eṣā́ṃ sómānāṃ pītím arhathaḥ | yuvā́ṃ hí yántīndavo nímnam ā́po ná sadhryàk ||

হে ইন্দ্র ও বায়ু! এই সোম-তরঙ্গের পান গ্রহণের যোগ্য তোমরাই দুইজন। কারণ ইন্দু-বিন্দুগুলি অপ্রতিরোধ্য বেগে তোমাদের দিকেই ধাবিত হয়—যেমন জল ঢাল বেয়ে নিম্ন গহ্বরে সোজা নিজের নির্ধারিত স্থানে গিয়ে পড়ে।
