सुप्राव्यः प्राशुषाळेष वीरः सुष्वेः पक्तिं कृणुते केवलेन्द्रः । नासुष्वेरापिर्न सखा न जामिर्दुष्प्राव्योऽवहन्तेदवाचः ॥

suprāvyàḥ prāśuṣā́ḷ eṣá vīráḥ súsveḥ paktíṃ kṛṇute kévaléndraḥ | nā́susveḥ ā́pir ná sákhā ná jāmír duḥprāvyò ’vahanté dávācaḥ ||

সুপ্রাবী (উত্তম অগ্র-সহায়) এই বীর, পেষণে দৃঢ়, সুষ্বে (যে ভালোভাবে নিংড়ায়) তার জন্য পরিপক্বতার অংশ গড়ে তোলে; ইন্দ্র সম্পূর্ণরূপে তারই হন। যে নিংড়ায় না, তার জন্য তিনি না আত্মীয়, না সখা, না ঘনিষ্ঠ; দুষ্প্রাবী (কু-সহায়) নিচে ঠেলে দেওয়া হয়—তারা কেবল ফাঁকা বাক্য বহনকারী।
