Sukta 4.22
ता तू त इन्द्र महतो महानि विश्वेष्वित्सवनेषु प्रवाच्या । यच्छूर धृष्णो धृषता दधृष्वानहिं वज्रेण शवसाविवेषीः ॥
tā́ tū́ te indra maható mahā́ni víśveṣv ít sávanēṣu pra-vā́cyā | yác chū́ra dhṛṣṇó dhṛṣátā dadhṛṣvā́n áhīṃ vájreṇa śávasā́viveṣīḥ ||
হে ইন্দ্র, এগুলিই মহানের মহান কর্ম—যা প্রত্যেক সवन (সোম-প্রেস)-এ ঘোষিত হওয়ার যোগ্য। কারণ হে শূর, ধৃষ্ণু—ধৃষতা বলের দ্বারা ধৃষ্ট, সম্পূর্ণ নির্ভীক—তুমি তোমার শক্তি-পরাক্রমে বজ্র দিয়ে অহি (সাপ)কে আঘাত করে বধ করেছিলে।
