Sukta 4.2
एता ते अग्न उचथानि वेधोऽवोचाम कवये ता जुषस्व । उच्छोचस्व कृणुहि वस्यसो नो महो रायः पुरुवार प्र यन्धि ॥
etā́ te agne ucáthāni védho’ vocāma kaváye tā́ juṣasva | úc chocasva kṛṇuhí vásyaso no mahó rāyáḥ puru-vā́ra prá yandhi ||
হে অগ্নি, হে বিধাতা (বেধস্), এই স্তুতিবচনগুলি আমরা কবি-স্বরূপ তোমার উদ্দেশে উচ্চারণ করেছি—তুমি এগুলি গ্রহণ করো। তুমি দীপ্ত হয়ে ওঠো; আমাদের জন্য আরও শ্রেষ্ঠ মঙ্গল সাধন করো। বহু কাম্য রূপে সমৃদ্ধ মহান্ রয়ি (সমৃদ্ধি) আমাদের দিকে প্রবাহিত করো।
