मित्रो देवेष्वायुषु जनाय वृक्तबर्हिषे । इष इष्टव्रता अकः ॥

mitró devéṣv ā́yuṣu jánāya vṛktábarhiṣe | íṣa iṣṭávratā akaḥ ||

মিত্র দেবগণের মধ্যে ও আয়ুষ্যধারায়, যে জন বর্হিস্ (যজ্ঞাসন) বিছিয়েছে তার জন্য কর্ম করেন। ইষ্ট-ব্রত (নির্বাচিত ধর্ম/ব্রত) পালনকারীদের জন্য তিনি ইষঃ—সমৃদ্ধির প্রেরণা—গঠন করেন।
