Transliteration
úd va ūŕmiḥ śámyā hantu ā́po yóktrāṇi muñcata | mā́ duṣ-kṛtáu ví-enasā́ghnyau śū́nam ā́ aratām ||
Translation
উদিত ঊর্মি (তরঙ্গ) শম্যা (কাঠের খুঁটি) আঘাত করে সরিয়ে দিক; হে আপঃ, যোক্ত্র (জোয়াল/বন্ধন) খুলে দাও। কুকর্ম বা দোষের কারণে সেই দুই নির্দোষ (অঘ্ন্যৌ) যেন আহত না হয়; তারা শূনম্—কল্যাণ ও নিরাপদ তীরে—উপনীত হোক।
