प्र पर्वतानामुशती उपस्थादश्वे इव विषिते हासमाने । गावेव शुभ्रे मातरा रिहाणे विपाट् छुतुद्री पयसा जवेते ॥

prá párvatānām uśatī́ upásthād áśve iva víṣite hāsámāne | gā́veva śubhré mā́tarā rihāṇé vipā́ṭ chūtudrī́ páyasā javete ||

পর্বতের মনোরম কোল থেকে সেই দুই কামনাময়ী নদী উচ্ছ্বসিত হয়ে বেরিয়ে আসে, যেন লাগামছাড়া অশ্বীরা হাসতে হাসতে ছুটে চলে। উজ্জ্বল মাতৃসম, গাভীরা যেমন বাছুরকে চেটে স্নেহ করে, তেমনই বিপাট্ ও শুতুদ্রী পোষণদায়ী দুগ্ধসম জলে দ্রুত বয়ে যায়।
