इदं कवेरादित्यस्य स्वराजो विश्वानि सान्त्यभ्यस्तु मह्ना । अति यो मन्द्रो यजथाय देवः सुकीर्तिं भिक्षे वरुणस्य भूरेः ॥

idáṃ kavér ādityásya sva-rā́jo víśvāni sā́nty abhy àstu mahnā́ | áti yo mandró yajáthāya deváḥ su-kīrtíṃ bhíkṣe váruṇasya bhū́reḥ ||

এটি আদিত্য-গোত্রীয় কবির বাণী—স্বরাজ (স্ব-সম্রাট)-এর; এর মহিমায় যা-কিছু শান্তি ও সামঞ্জস্য আছে, সবই পরিব্যাপ্ত হোক। ভুরি (অতিশয় সমৃদ্ধ) বরুণের নিকট আমি সুকীর্তি—শুভ যশ—ভিক্ষা চাই, যাতে সেই আনন্দময় দেব যজথায় (যজ্ঞ-কর্ম) জন্য সকল বাধা অতিক্রম করে এগিয়ে নেন।
