अपाय्यस्यान्धसो मदाय मनीषिणः सुवानस्य प्रयसः । यस्मिन्निन्द्रः प्रदिवि वावृधान ओको दधे ब्रह्मण्यन्तश्च नरः ॥

apā́yya syā́ndhaso mádāya manī́ṣiṇaḥ suvāná sya práyasaḥ | yásminn índraḥ prádivi vāvṛdhāná óko dadhé brahmaṇyántaś ca náraḥ ||

অর্পিত যজ্ঞরসের নিংড়ানো আনন্দ, মনীষী ঋষি উন্মাদ-আনন্দের জন্য, নিবেদনের পূর্ণতা থেকে, পান করেছেন। সেই (সোম)-এ ইন্দ্র, উচ্চ দিবিতে বৃদ্ধি পেতে পেতে, নিজের নিবাস স্থাপন করেছেন; আর ব্রহ্ম-অন্বেষী নরগণ তাঁর কাছে সমবেত হয়।
