एतावानस्य महिमातो ज्यायाँश्च पूरुषः । पादोऽस्य विश्वा भूतानि त्रिपादस्यामृतं दिवि ॥

etā́vān asya mahimā́ áto jyā́yāṃś ca pū́ruṣaḥ | pā́do ’sya víśvā bhūtā́ni tripā́d asyā́mṛtaṃ diví ||

এতটাই তার মহিমার বিস্তার; আর পুরুষ এর চেয়েও অধিক মহান। তার এক পাদই সকল ভূত-প্রাণী; তার তিন পাদ দিব্যলোকে অমৃত—অমর—রূপে প্রতিষ্ঠিত।
