अक्षण्वन्तः कर्णवन्तः सखायो मनोजवेष्वसमा बभूवुः । आदघ्नास उपकक्षास उ त्वे ह्रदा इव स्नात्वा उ त्वे ददृश्रे ॥
akṣaṇvántáḥ kárṇavantáḥ sakhā́yo manojavéṣv ásamā babhūvuḥ | ādaghnā́sa upakakṣā́sa u tve hradā́ iva snā́tvā u tve dadṛśre ||
চোখওয়ালা, কানওয়ালা সখারা মনের দ্রুত গতিতে অসমান হয়ে পড়ল। কেউ হাঁটু পর্যন্তই পৌঁছায়, কেউ বগল পর্যন্ত; কিন্তু কেউ কেউ—স্নানের পর হ্রদের মতো—তোমার মধ্যে উজ্জ্বল হয়ে, নির্মল হয়ে, প্রকাশিত হয়।
