कथा कविस्तुवीरवान्कया गिरा बृहस्पतिर्वावृधते सुवृक्तिभिः । अज एकपात्सुहवेभिॠक्वभिरहिः शृणोतु बुध्न्यो हवीमनि ॥

Transliteration

kathā́ kavís tuvīrávān káyā girā́ bृहáspátir vāvṛdhate suvṛ́ktibhiḥ | ajá ékapāt suhávebhir ṛ́kvabhir áhíḥ śṛṇotu budhnyò havī́mani ||

Translation

কীভাবে, কোন বাক্যে, মহাবীর-ধ্বনিসম্পন্ন কবি—বৃহস্পতী—সু-রচিত স্তোত্রে বৃদ্ধি লাভ করেন? সু-আহ্বানকারী ঋক্-গায়কদের সঙ্গে অজ একপাদ শুনুন; আর গভীর-তলের সর্প—বুধ্ন্য—হবিষের সময় শ্রবণ করুন।
