ऐषु चाकन्धि पुरुहूत सूरिषु वृधासो ये मघवन्नानशुर्मघम् । अर्चन्ति तोके तनये परिष्टिषु मेधसाता वाजिनमह्रये धने ॥

ā́ eṣú cākandhi puru-hūta sū́riṣu vṛdhā́so yé maghavan ānaśúr mágham | árcanti tókē tánaye páriṣṭiṣu medhā-sā́tā vā́jinam áhṛye dháne ||

হে পুরুহূত মঘবন! এই উদার দাতা সূরিদের মধ্যে সতর্ক থেকো—হে মঘবন, যারা তোমার দান-প্রাচুর্য (মঘ) লাভ করেছে। তারা সন্তান ও বংশে, পরিবেষ্টিত রক্ষায় তোমার স্তব করে; মেধায় জয়ী হয়ে তারা বাজিনের পূর্ণতা এবং অহর্য—অগ্রাহ্য ধন আহ্বান করে।
