Sukta 1.89
भद्रं कर्णेभिः शृणुयाम देवा भद्रं पश्येमाक्षभिर्यजत्राः । स्थिरैरङ्गैस्तुष्टुवांसस्तनूभिर्व्यशेम देवहितं यदायुः ॥
bhadráṃ kárṇebhiḥ śṛṇuyāma devā bhadráṃ paśyemā́kṣabhir yajatrāḥ | sthiráir áṅgais tuṣṭuvā́ṃsas tanū́bhir vyàśema deva-hítaṃ yád ā́yuḥ ||
হে দেবগণ, আমরা কানে কানে কল্যাণময়ই শুনি; হে যজত্রগণ, আমরা চোখে চোখে কল্যাণময়ই দেখি। স্থির অঙ্গ ও সুস্থ দেহে স্তব করতে করতে, দেবহিত (দেবদের দ্বারা নির্ধারিত) আয়ুকে আমরা পূর্ণ বিস্তার পর্যন্ত লাভ করি।
