स त्वामदद्वृषा मदः सोमः श्येनाभृतः सुतः । येना वृत्रं निरद्भ्यो जघन्थ वज्रिन्नोजसार्चन्ननु स्वराज्यम् ॥

sá tvā́ amadat vṛ́ṣā mádaḥ sómaḥ śyenā́bhṛtaḥ sutáḥ | yéna vṛtráṃ nír adbhyó jaghántha vajrinn ójasā́rcan ánu sva-rā́jyam ||

বৃষভসম এই মদ—শ্যেন দ্বারা আনা, নিংড়ানো সোম—তোমাকে আনন্দিত করল। তারই দ্বারা, হে বজ্রিন, তোমার ওজসে তুমি জলসমূহ থেকে বৃত্রকে বধ করলে, এবং স্তোত্রগান করতে করতে নিজের স্বরাজ্যে প্রবিষ্ট হলে।
