तं त्वा नरो दम आ नित्यमिद्धमग्ने सचन्त क्षितिषु ध्रुवासु । अधि द्युम्नं नि दधुर्भूर्यस्मिन्भवा विश्वायुर्धरुणो रयीणाम् ॥
táṃ tvā nárō dáma ā́ nítyam iddhám agne sácanta kṣitíṣu dhruvā́su | ádhi dyumnáṃ ní dadhur bhū́ry asmín bhávā viśvā́yur dharuṇó rayīṇā́m ||
হে অগ্নি, তোমাকে—যাকে মানুষ গৃহে সর্বদা প্রজ্বলিত রেখে, স্থির আবাসগুলিতে নিত্য নিকটে আসে—তোমার উপরেই তারা প্রাচুর্যপূর্ণ দীপ্তিময় দ্যুম্ন স্থাপন করে। আমাদের জন্য তুমি বিশ্ব-আয়ুর ধারক হও, এবং রয়ি (সমৃদ্ধি)-সমূহের দৃঢ় আশ্রয় হও।
