देवो न यः पृथिवीं विश्वधाया उपक्षेति हितमित्रो न राजा । पुरःसदः शर्मसदो न वीरा अनवद्या पतिजुष्टेव नारी ॥

devó ná yaḥ pṛthivī́ṃ viśvá-dhāyā upa-kṣéti hitá-mitro ná rājā́ | puráḥ-sadaḥ śárma-sado ná vīrā́ anavadyā́ patí-juṣṭeva nā́rī ||

দেবের মতো তিনি সর্বধারা পৃথিবীতে বাস করেন—হিতমিত্র, রাজার মতো সখ্য-সন্ধিতে সুসমঞ্জস। তিনি পুরঃসদ্ (অগ্রাসীন), তিনি শর্মসদ্ (শান্তিতে আসীন), বীরদের মতো; অনবদ্য, স্বামীর প্রিয় পত্নীর মতো।
