Indrajit and Lakshmana: War-Boasts, Rebuke, and the Clash
पत्रिणःशितधारास्तेकरामत्कार्मुकच्युताः ।।।।आदास्यन्तेऽद्यसौमित्रेजीवितंजीवितान्तकाः ।
patriṇaḥ śita-dhārās te mat-kārmuka-cyutāḥ |
ādāsyante 'dya saumitre jīvitaṁ jīvitāntakāḥ ||
হে সৌমিত্রে! আমার ধনুক থেকে নিক্ষিপ্ত এই পালকযুক্ত তীক্ষ্ণধার শরগুলি প্রাণান্তক; আজই তারা তোমার জীবন কেড়ে নেবে।
"Saumithri, these sharp pointed arrows fixed to feathers, which can destroy life, released by me now will put an end to your life."
