युद्धकाण्डे त्रिपञ्चाशः सर्गः — धूम्राक्षवधश्रवणं, वज्रदंष्ट्रप्रेषणं, अङ्गद-राक्षसयुद्धम्
Ravana Dispatches Vajradamshtra; Portents and Angada’s Assault
तद्राक्षसबलंसर्वंविप्रस्थितमशोभत ।प्रावृटकालेयथामेघानर्दमानास्सविद्युतः ।।।।निस्सृतादक्षिणद्वारादङ्गदोयत्रयूथपः ।
tad rākṣasabalaṃ sarvaṃ viprasthitam aśobhata |
prāvṛṭkāle yathā meghā nardamānāḥ savidyutaḥ ||
niḥsṛtād dakṣiṇadvārād aṅgado yatra yūthapaḥ |
তখন সমগ্র রাক্ষস-সেনা সাজসজ্জায় অগ্রসর হয়ে অপূর্ব দীপ্তিতে প্রকাশ পেল—বর্ষাকালের গর্জনরত, বিদ্যুৎ-ঝলমলে মেঘের ন্যায়। তারা দক্ষিণ দ্বার দিয়ে বেরিয়ে এল, যেখানে বানর-যূথপতি অঙ্গদ অবস্থান করছিল।
