Description of Ayodhya under Daśaratha

तेन सत्याभिसन्धेन त्रिवर्गमनुतिष्ठता ।पालिता सा पुरी श्रेष्ठा इन्द्रेणेवामरावती ।।1.6.5।।

tena satyābhisandhena trivargam anutiṣṭhatā |

pālitā sā purī śreṣṭhā indreṇevāmarāvatī ||1.6.5||

সত্যনিষ্ঠ এবং ধর্ম-অর্থ-কাম এই ত্রিবর্গকে যথাযথভাবে অনুসরণকারী সেই রাজার দ্বারা শ্রেষ্ঠ নগরীটি এমনভাবে পালিত হয়েছিল, যেমন ইন্দ্র অমরাবতীকে পালন করেন।
