प्रवेशः / Entry into Kāma’s Hermitage at the Sarayū–Gaṅgā Confluence
अवदग्धस्य रौद्रेण चक्षुषा रघुनन्दन।व्यशीर्यन्त शरीरात्स्वात्सर्वगात्राणि दुर्मते:।।।।
avadagdhasya raudreṇa cakṣuṣā raghunandana |
vyaśīryanta śarīrāt svāt sarvagātrāṇi durmateḥ ||
হে রঘুনন্দন! সেই রৌদ্র দৃষ্টিতে দগ্ধ হয়ে দুর্মতি কাম-এর সর্বাঙ্গ নিজ দেহ থেকে ঝরে পড়ে বিনষ্ট হয়ে গেল।
"O descendant of Raghu, burnt down by his fierce (third) eye, all the limbs of the body of that evil-minded Kama were consumed.
