अश्वमेधप्रवृत्तिः

Commencement and Performance of Daśaratha’s Aśvamedha

पतत्रिणस्तस्य वपा मुद्धृत्य नियतेन्द्रिय:।ऋत्विक्परमसम्पन्न: श्रपयामास शास्त्रत:।।।।

patatriṇas tasya vapāṃ uddhṛtya niyatendriyaḥ |

ṛtvik paramasampannaḥ śrapayāmāsa śāstrataḥ ||

তখন ইন্দ্রিয়সংযমী ও শাস্ত্রজ্ঞানে পরিপূর্ণ ঋত্বিক্ সেই অশ্বের বপা উত্তোলন করে শাস্ত্রবিধি অনুসারে তা সিদ্ধ করলেন।
