সেখানে রামের নিবাসস্থলে ভরত দেখলেন এক পুণ্য, প্রশস্ত বেদী—উত্তর-পূর্বদিকে ঢালু—যার অগ্নি উজ্জ্বলভাবে প্রজ্বলিত।
