अयोध्याकाण्डे विंशः सर्गः

स स्वभावविनीतश्च गौरवाच्च तदा नतः।प्रस्थितो दण्डकारण्यमाप्रष्टुमुपचक्रमे।।।।
sa svabhāvavinītaś ca gauravāc ca tadā nataḥ | prasthito daṇḍakāraṇyam āpraṣṭum upacakrame ||
রাম স্বভাবতই বিনীত; তখন শ্রদ্ধায় নত হয়ে, দণ্ডকারণ্যে যাত্রাপ্রস্তুত অবস্থায় তিনি মাতার কাছে অনুমতি প্রার্থনা করতে লাগলেন।
