अत्र्याश्रमगमनम् तथा अनसूयोपदेशः
Arrival at Atri’s Hermitage and Anasuya’s Counsel
तामिमां सर्वभूतानां नमस्कार्यां यशस्विनीम्अभिगच्छतु वैदेही वृद्धामक्रोधनां सदा।अनसूयेति या लोके कर्मभिः ख्यातिमागता।।।।
tām imāṃ sarva-bhūtānāṃ namaskāryāṃ yaśasvinīm |
abhigacchatu vaidehī vṛddhām akrodhanāṃ sadā |
anasūyeti yā loke karmabhiḥ khyātim āgatā ||
সকল প্রাণীর কাছে নমস্যা, যশস্বিনী, বৃদ্ধা ও সদা ক্রোধশূন্য—কর্মগুণে জগতে ‘অনসূয়া’ নামে খ্যাত সেই মহীয়সীর নিকট বৈদেহী গমন করুক।
Hearing those words of the sage, Rama said be it so and said to righteous Sita these choice words.
Dharma includes humility and honoring the righteous: approaching a venerable, anger-free ascetic teaches that spiritual authority is validated by conduct (karman) and self-mastery.
Atri directs that Sītā should go to Anasūyā, presenting her as universally venerable and renowned for her deeds.
Anasūyā’s akrodha (freedom from anger) and moral authority earned through actions, not mere status.
